Jemma Dunstan – Little Stars Music Teacher

Jemma started her musical experience from a very young age and has her parents love of music running through her veins. Both of Jemma’s parents enjoy performing in a local garage band, her mother performs as a back up singer and her father as a percussionist.

As a 12 year old Jemma’s passion for music secured her a place in the National Childrens Choir of Australia where she performed state wide and even recorded a CD. Jemma’s involvement in Choir did not stop there, she went on to perform many solos throughout her primary schooling.

While attending High school Jemma tried her hand at many different instruments including percussion, harmonica and trumpet (much to her fathers delight, as an accomplished trumpet player). Jemma went on to become Choir Vice Captain where performances in the annual Musical Soiree were a highlight. Jemma’s passion for acting meant she secured roles in the schools plays year after year. A highlight for Jemma was performing in the musical Romeo and Juliet.

Jemma undertook Education training in the Music Industry including Singing and Songwriting where she enjoyed recording her own songs.

Jemma is currently studying Early Childhood Development, a passion she has had for many years. Jemma was drawn to the Suzuki method early 2011 and has been inspired by the philosophy and benefits music has on the growth and development of young children.
